Magnets in healthcare: magnetic therapy

Time:2023-10-31 Views:1

As magnetic therapy continues to gain widespread popularity, the sales of magnets used continue to increase globally. Surprisingly, magnets are used to handle a considerable number of situations in the healthcare industry.

Magnetic therapy is considered an alternative medical practice that uses stationary magnets to alleviate pain and other health issues. Some conditions include: water retention, painful rheumatoid arthritis, neuralgia caused by diabetes, insomnia, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, multiple sclerosis

In order to alleviate post-traumatic stress disorder and Parkinson's disease, treatment magnets are made into bracelets, rings, necklaces, insoles, and magnetic mattresses for treatment.

How does it work?

The initial idea was that the magnetic field generated in the body could cause diseases, so using a magnet could correct this situation by restoring the magnetic field to a normal equilibrium state.

More precisely, magnetic therapy is based on the idea that our body forms an electromagnetic field that responds to the therapeutic power of the magnet. This is because iron accounts for about 4% of the human blood content, and every ion in our cells generates electrical pulses. Fundamentally, these three elements together constitute the electromagnetic field within the body.

This means that when the north (negative) side of the magnet is placed in the painful area of the body, it will inhale fresh oxygenated blood into that area. In contrast, fresh oxygenated blood generates a positive energy field, resulting in a dual effect and accelerating healing.
