Soft magnetic ferrite is a ferrous magnetic oxide mainly composed of Fe2O3, produced by powder metallurgy method. It mainly includes several types such as Mn-Zn, Cu-Zn, Ni-Zn, etc. Among them, Mn-Zn ferrite has the highest production and usage, and its resistivity is low, ranging from 1 to 10 ohms/meter, generally used at frequencies below 100kHz. The resistivity of Cu Zn and Ni Zn ferrites ranges from 102 to 104 ohms per meter, with low losses in the radio frequency range of 100kHz to 10 MHz. They are commonly used in radio antenna coils and radio intermediate frequency transformers.

At present, ferrite soft magnets in China are mainly used in the fields of communication, home appliances, and new energy. In the future, soft magnetic materials will be mainly applied in new infrastructure markets such as high-end consumer and industrial electronics, new energy, cloud computing, Internet of Things, 4G and 5G communication, power supply devices, and new consumer electronics.
