Due to the presence of iron element in sintered neodymium iron boron magnets, the coating is a very important part of neodymium magnets. Although we can offer multiple electroplating options, nickel is still the most common and usually the preferred.

Nickel plated magnets actually consist of three layers of nickel plating, copper plating, and nickel plating. This three-layer electroplating makes our sintered neodymium iron boron magnets more durable than single-layer nickel plated magnets. Other coating options include zinc, tin, and rubber, epoxy resin, silver, and gold.

Sintered neodymium iron boron magnets can be used in many products at room temperature and some higher temperatures up to 200 ℃.
